Studio Photos (03.07.10) We've managed to get in a couple of studio sessions since the snow has melted. The band is very excited about the tracks we've done. Some photos from the sessions can be seen here.
The Snow! (02.12.10) The snow on the east coast has played havoc with our recording schedule! We have had 42 inches of snow and more in the Shenandoah Valley over the past month. Out of four scheduled dates in January, we were able to keep one - a good one, but only one. We've had one cancelled in February, but plan to be back in the studio three more times in the next two weeks. Keeping our fingers crossed!
BluegrassCountry.org Broadcast (01.21.10) Patent Pending will be featured FRIDAY, January 22nd at 9am (eastern) on the Katy Daley Show. Then starting on Saturday, an edited version will start airing during WAMU's Special Program time slot and run for two weeks.

BluegrassCountry.org (12.13.09) The band will visit the studios of WAMU in Washington, DC on Friday Dec. 18 to record and interview with Katy Daily, and perform some live music to be aired at a later date on Katy's show on WAMU's Bluegrass Country HD radio in the Washington area and on www.bluegrasscountry.org. We'll keep you adivised of the air date when we know.
Recording Project Scheduled (12.12.09) The band goes into the studio beginning with four dates in January. We have a lot of new material that we are exiced about, and are looking forward to having a new CD out by Summer.
Patent Pending Welcomes Buster Sexton on Banjo (09.16.09) Please join us in welcoming Buster Sexton as Patent Pending's new banjo player. Buster performed his first shows with the band this past weekend. He is a very talented veteran musician, and has played with a number of highly respected bands including the McPeak Brothers, Leon Morris and Associates, Chief Powhatan, Wayne Yates and Company, and his own group, the East Coast Bluegrass Band. These past few weeks have been a difficult time for all of us. With his professionalism, enthusiasm and warmth, Buster has been a ray of sunshine in our sad hearts. We are pleased and thankful to have him as a member of the Patent Pending family.
